GENERAL INFORMATION AND SALES POLICY

 

¨     New accounts and/or new orders are submitted subject to sales office approval and the approval of credit management.

 

¨     New orders will not be processed prior to receipt of a completed credit application.   This should be sent to:  One Westchester Plaza, Elmsford, NY 10523.

 

¨     Local sales personnel are given the right to review and/or decline opening of new accounts in cases where additional distribution may create conflicts.

 

¨     Minimum opening order for any single product category is $500.  A $10 handling fee is applied to all subsequent orders valued at less than $100.

 

¨     Prices quoted are US$.  Prices quoted are subject to change without notice due to the fluctuating nature of currency exchange rates, tariff structures, and carriage charges.

 

¨     Terms:  All merchandise invoiced at Net 30 Days.  FOB Elmsford, NY  10523.

 

¨     Shipping is by UPS ground service unless otherwise specified by the account.

 

¨     Returns will not be accepted without proper authorization.  Return authorization numbers will be issued by the sales office and this RA# must appear on returned parcels or they will be refused.

 

¨     Underwear is non-returnable.

 

¨     Claims for shortages or for damaged shipments must be made in writing within seven days of invoice date.  Claims made after this period will not be honored.

 

¨     NSF checks will be charged to the account in the amount of $25 per violation.  The account will be placed on credit hold until the matter is resolved.

 

¨     Accounts will be placed on credit hold and no shipments will be released if payment is 60 days or more past due.

 

Checks should be made payable to The British Apparel Collection Ltd.  One Westchester Plaza, Elmsford NY, 10523. We do offer American Express, Visa or MasterCard as another payment option.
